More About Doris Croft

Doris has practiced in almost all occupational therapy practice settings but began focusing on hand therapy 12 years ago. Doris earned her Certified Hand Therapist credentials back in 2016 and has practiced for much of her career in the Houston area. Since moving to San Antonio and joining Momentum back in 2018, she has been a strong member of the team and has contributed much to the hand therapy program.

When asked about her desire to serve as President of the TSHT, Doris said, “I wanted to get involved with TSHT and give back to a profession that I am proud of and thoroughly enjoy. I have found that often it is just a few people serving and doing a lot of the work to make things great for the rest of us in our professional affiliations. I want to change that and be a contributing member. If we all do just a little, it makes the load lighter and more enjoyable for all; our profession and our work blossoms.”

Please join us in congratulating and wishing Doris the best of luck as she leads the Texas Society for Hand Therapy. We are so proud of Doris for this accomplishment and are excited to see the great things she will do as President of TSHT!
