Momentum Physical Therapy recently participated in their 3rd annual United Way Corporate Campaign. The United Way, funded solely by employee contributions from companies across the city, provides vital funding to non-profits that provide basic needs (food, clothing, shelter and safety) to those in need. In San Antonio, United Way focuses on improving early care and education for children, helping students succeed in school and strengthening families. Momentum and its employees are always aiming to do what they can to improve the quality of life for people in the communities they serve and participating in the United Way Corporate Campaign is a great way to do that.

This year, Momentum’s planning committee came up with some great new ideas to make the campaign a success. The campaign was kicked off during the October Momentum “All Staff” meetings, some great group incentives were offered (based on group participation levels), and there were some great items offered as raffle items for individual participants. Over the next year, if you walk into one of our clinics and notice the team is wearing jeans on a Monday, you’ll know that the clinic had 100% participation.
Momentum’s employees came together and donated $7,373 to the United Way, demonstrating a 174% increase from the previous year’s campaign. The campaign was so successful, Momentum was featured during the United Way Corporate Campaign wrap up breakfast. Kudos to all the staff at Momentum for making this year’s campaign a success and doing their part to provide assistance to the San Antonio area community.
