OT and OTR stand for Occupational Therapist and Occupation Therapist, Registered. OTR is a national certification earned after passing an exam from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy. Occupational therapists help patients participate in everyday activities, recover from injuries, regain skills and much more.
